“A Scholar of Civilization, Biruni” Documentary on TRT2

The first episode of the documentary "A Civilization Scholar Biruni", prepared with the contributions of; our university, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan and the Istanbul International Center for Civilization Studies (MED-AR), will meet with the audience on TRT2 on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 20.00.

Khwarezmia, Transoxiana, Khorasan… The places where the most fertile lands of the world are, where the heart of Central Asia once beat... It is where many events that shaped history, took place. The region; hosts the legacy of ancient cultures and civilizations, brought up many enlightening scientists and thinkers and presented them to humanity. One of these scientists is Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, whose name is still alive with our university.

First Episode will be released

The text of the Turkish-Islamic scholar Al-Biruni documentary, which sheds light on the world of science with the first discoveries he brought to the field of science, is written by the president of Istanbul International Civilization Studies Association (MED-AR) Prof. Bekir Karlığı. The first episode of the documentary "A Scholar of Civilization, Biruni" will meet with the audience on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 20.00 on TRT2.
