We Welcomed the New Year with a Magnificent Concert

With an amateur spirit and a professional stage performance, we welcomed the new year with the concert held by our music community on December 28, 2022 at Reyhan Conference Hall. Many students and academics attended the concert, where all participants danced to the popular songs. Ceyda Yağız, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine and a 2nd year student of the Department of Anesthesia, Bahadır Serbest, took the stage on vocals; İlbey Sencer Sarı, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Burak Erden, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine, took the stage on electric guitar; Baver Burak Ergin, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine, joined on drums; Sezin Gedik, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine, on violin; and Burak İlgar, 3rd year student of the Department of English Language Teaching, on bass guitar.

Afterwards, the group consisting of our academics; Ozan Sezgin, Lecturer of Foreign Languages contributed on drums; Lecturer Berkan Yalın, Head of the Department of Medical Services and Head of the Operating Room Services Program on contributed with electric guitar; and Mesut Şentürk, PhD student of the Faculty of Pharmacy, performed an unforgettable concert. At the end of the concert, where popular songs were performed with their magnificent stage performances, the musicians on stage received an applause from the participants.
