‎A Meaningful Gift to Our chancellor from Kabataş High School for Boys‎

    ‎Our chancellor Prof. Adnan Yüksel, who is known for his support to social projects, attended the award ceremony of the painting contest titled "Autism in My Eyes" at Kabataş Erkek Lisesi, where he graduated. Our chancellor, who never broke his ties with his high school, was given a picture with report cards showing his achievements during his education at Kabataş High School as a memory of the day.‎


    ‎Our university continues to support environmentally sensitive social responsibility projects, especially health. Our chancellor Prof. Adnan Yüksel attended the award ceremony of the painting contest titled "Autism in My Eyes" held at Kabataş High School for Boys, where he graduated. The ceremony was attended by many guests including Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Levent Yazıcı, Beşiktaş District Governor Önder Bakan, 22nd and 23rd Term Deputy and Beyazay Chairman Lokman Ayva. The ceremony was marked by the loud saying of the students, 'Autism is not a disease, it is a color'.‎

     

    ‎High Interest in our chancellor‎

    ‎Before the ceremony, our chancellor Prof. Adnan Yüksel visited the exhibition where the works prepared for the "Autism in My Eyes" competition were exhibited in the garden of Kabataş High School for Boys. ‎‎ Our chancellor, who showed great interest in the students, cut the opening ribbon of the exhibition with the students. Our chancellor, who listened to the story of the photograph of the student named Ensar Aynalı, who ranked first in the competition, congratulated the young people for their sensitivity.‎

     

    ‎The Importance of Recognizing Talents at an Early Age‎

    ‎In his speech at the ceremony, our chancellor Prof. Adnan Yüksel stated that each child is responsible for determining the learning capacity and developing it in accordance with the rhythm. Underlining that the environmental factor as well as the genetic elements should not be ignored at the basis of the diseases, our chancellor called on all educators to support their students in discovering their talents by saying, "Discovering talents and making a difference in them is the best victory." Our chancellor emphasized the importance of healthy nutrition, not consuming genetically modified foods, paying attention to the cleanliness of the water and changing the water brand at regular intervals. Our chancellor presented the award to Arjin Mehmet, one of the winning students. ‎

     

    ‎Peer-to-peer relationships should be strengthened‎

    ‎Beşiktaş District Governor Mr. Önder Minister drew attention to the importance of special education and said that children can continue their education life by raising awareness of families. He explained that as the district governorship, they are always ready to support. ‎

    ‎Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Mr. Levent Yazıcı stated that the support of young people will continue with many projects that have been implemented and will be in the future. "These studies show that education strengthens peer-to-peer relationships and plays a healing role for children," Yazıcı said.‎

     

    ‎'Autism is Color, Not Disease'‎

    ‎22nd and 23rd Term Deputy and Beyazay Chairman Mr. Lokman Ayva talked about Beyazay's work in his speech. Emphasizing the importance of social sensitivity, Mr. Lokman Ayva concluded his speech by thanking everyone who supported the event. ‎

     

    ‎Our chancellor's Student Life that is Full of Success‎

    ‎During the visit, our chancellor Prof. Adnan Yüksel was presented with a document showing his achievements during his education at Kabataş Erkek Lisesi, where he graduated. Our chancellor Prof. Adnan Yüksel, who received his certificate from the hands of Beşiktaş District Governor Mr. Önder Bakan, had emotional moments. The ceremony ended with the piano and music recital of Kabataş High School for Boys and young people with Autism.‎
