Assoc. Dr İlke Küpeli Represented Our Country and University Beyond The Borders

    Assoc. Prof. Dr İlke Küpeli has made our country and our university proud as being the only Anesthesiologist invited from Turkey to the seminar titled Salzburg CHOP Seminar in Pediatric Anesthesia and Critical Care attended by 35 countries. Biruni University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr İlke Kupeli gave a presentation on the question, “How should we give safe anaesthesia in a newborn 2-day-old baby with congenital heart disease and anal atresia?” in the seminar.


    AAF (American Austrian Foundation) and OMI (Open Medical Institute) are known as educational institutions based in New York, Vienna and Salzburg (USA - Austria), providing global medical education in 30 disciplines and 55 categories. Every year, OMI organizes training programs for dozens of academics and medical doctors from all over the world for their development.     I am So Proud

    Biruni University Faculty of Medicine Head of Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation and Department of Surgical Medical Sciences Assoc. Dr İlke Kupeli was the only anesthesiologist from our country who was invited to the seminar "Salzburg CHOP Seminar in Pediatric Anesthesia and Critical Care", which is held every three years.


    The seminar hosted doctors and academicians from 35 countries in fields such as anesthesiology, intensive care, pediatric and pediatric intensive care.

    Scientists from 35 Countries Met

    Assoc. Dr İlke Kupeli underlined the importance of the seminar for the medical world. “This seminar is held every 3 years and its current issues and approaches are constituted with the participation of doctors and academics from all over the world. Here, we are a part of a program that requires 100% interactive participation for an entire week. Such seminars are essential in terms of sharing information, making evidence-based medical practices, keeping up with the innovations and taking part in the new ones, and developing both social, academic and bilateral relations.” she explained.


    How to Anesthetize Safely 2-Days Newborn?

    In the seminar Biruni University faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr İlke Kupeli gave a presentation on the question "How should we anaesthetize a 2-days-old baby with congenital heart disease and anal atresia?


    Our faculty member, “These seminars are important to learn about new treatments and approaches leading the literature that are not yet available in our country but are started to apply in other countries. Thanks to such seminars, we have the opportunity to increase patient health and safety by preventing disability and death. In addition, we have the opportunity to take part in these studies and to be a part of science.” said.
