With our 10 Training Methods We Add Value to Our Students

Making the opening speech of the seminar organized by our university in cooperation with Tekirdağ Directorate of National Education, RAM Education Academy, our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel said, “We want our students to learn in the best possible way. We are successfully implementing our 10 educational methods that enable our young people to develop their thinking systems.”

The training seminar organized by our university in cooperation with the Tekirdağ Directorate of National Education, RAM Education Academy, was held with the participation of hundreds of guidance teachers. The opening speech of the seminar was delivered by our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yuksel has done it. Our Rector, drawing attention to the importance of the guidance teachers in the journey of self-discovery of the students, thanked all the teachers who participated. Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel explained that as Biruni University, they always adopted the principle of contributing to the development of students and said, “University means research. University means innovation. We want our students to learn in the best possible way. We want our young people to develop their thinking systems. For this reason, we have 10 methods that support education.”

The Importance of Teaching Learning
Our Rector stated that each education method adds a different value to the development of the student and said, “Our Biruni Class Preparation system is BirDeHa about our 10 methods. The Formation of Biruni Bilgi is our method of BirBilginOl. Biruni Thought and Practice Training is BirDüşEgit. Our Biruni Scientific Project Friendship method is BirBilPar. Biruni Peer Mentoring BirAkAr, Biruni Academic Counseling BirEBir, Biruni Together Activity BirBirEt, Biruni Career Center-Consulting BirKarDan, Biruni Continuing Education Center BirSemSer, Biruni ALES, KPSS and DGS Preparatory Course BirBirİleri. We successfully apply all of these methods.”

Trainer's Training Seminars
Explaining that the world is in change and development, our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel stated that both learning and teaching are now even more important and said, “We are training the educator one week before our university opens. We also attach great importance to the training of the trainer.”

We need to gain communication skills
After the opening speech, Faculty of Education Special Education Teaching Department Prof. Dr. Mr. Binyamin Birkan gave a seminar titled "Applied Behavior Analysis: A Science That Improves the Quality of Life of Children with Autism and Their Families". Prof. Birkan said that changing some behaviors is more important for children with autism and, “Communication skills are the most important". The development of communication skills gives the child control of the social environment. Independence skills give the child control of the physical environment and contribute to being a self-directed person. Social skills endear the child to the parent and give the child more control over the social environment, the kind of control that the social environment desires or accepts.”
