On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, the Panel on Teacher Education in the Republican Era was organised by the Faculty of Education.
The opening speech was made by Prof. Dr. Adnan ÖMERUSTAOĞLU, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Panel Manager. Prof. Dr. Ömerustaoğlu presented his views on the importance of the Republic to education and the value of the teacher.
Other speakers and their presentations were; Dr. Lecturer Süleyman DOĞRU "Teacher Training Institutions in the Republican Period", Prof. Dr. Lütfü ILGAR "Pedagogical Formation in Teacher Education and a Model Proposal" and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru KUŞÇU "Atatürk's Vision and Educational Technologies in the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkey (Use of Artificial Intelligence in Education)".
