Being a Medical Student in the Disaster of the Century

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Solak attended the "Being a Medical Student in the Catastrophe of the Century" programme organised by the University of Health Sciences at the Mekteb-i Tıbbiyye-i Şahane Complex on the occasion of 14 March Medical Day, attended by the President of the Council of Higher Education Erol Özvar.

"We care about supporting our human resources in medical faculties and improving their conditions"

Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel, Rector of our University, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Solak, Vice Rector of our University, attended the "Being a Medical Student in the Disaster of the Century" programme organised by the University of Health Sciences in Istanbul on the occasion of 14 March Medical Day at the Mekteb-i Tıbbiyye-i Şahane Complex.

On the occasion of 14 March Medical Day, Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education, thanked all peers in the field of health, from academic staff to administrative staff and students, for their courage and dedication in difficult conditions after the earthquakes on 6 February, and said, "We care about supporting our human resources in medical faculties and improving their conditions."

 Speaking at the opening of the programme, Özvar stated that the earthquakes that took place on 6 February and affected 11 provinces had a deep impact on the country and wished mercy to those who lost their lives, condolences to the nation and quick recovery to the earthquake victims.
