2022-2023 BİRUNİ UNIVERSITY GRADUATES THROW THEIR CAPS IN THE AIR

Our university sent off the 2022-2023 academic year graduates with graduation ceremonies. In the graduation ceremonies held on June 19-20-21-22, students experienced the joy of graduation with different sessions.

In the ceremonies held in the Biruni University campus area; The first session was completed with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Education, the second session with the Faculty of Health Sciences, the third session with the Vocational School, and the fourth session with the graduates of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Medicine. The ceremony was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Sevim Savaşer, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Solak, Prof. Dr. Fatma Çelik, faculty members of our faculties and the families of our students.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel started the opening speech of the graduation ceremony by saying "Dear students, there is no doubt that this special day is your day."Then he added;  "Over the years, you have participated in many cultural, artistic and sports activities while attending your classes on this beautiful and cosy campus. You have worked hard to reach this day. On the other hand, you have made good friends and accumulated beautiful memories. I would like to proudly say that all the faculties and schools of Biruni University, whose graduation we are celebrating today, are very respected in our country. Surely, your families are the biggest supporters behind your success. I know that the basis of our pride and happiness today is their support and trust in you and I would like to congratulate each one of them. In addition to your families, I would also like to thank the esteemed academics of Biruni University, who sacrificed their best to make you better equipped in every subject. Dear young people, with the qualified education you receive at our university in accordance with the requirements of the age, we are confident that each of you will come to very good places in your field; we are confident that you will build the future of our country. You are our hope and our future. As members of our family, you will always carry the badge of Biruni University with pride and continue to make us proud. On this beautiful day, I congratulate you, your professors and your families once again, and sincerely wish you all the best."

 The ceremony continued with the speeches made on behalf of the graduates by; Pınar Yalçın, the top of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Eda Nur Demirci, the top of the Faculty of Education, Büşra Gürcü, the top of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Burak Beder, the top of the Faculty of Engineering, Gamze Açıkyol, the top of the Faculty of Dentistry, Lokman Tunca, the top of the Faculty of Medicine, and Özlem Doğan, the top of the Vocational School. The students received their graduation certificates from our Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan Yüksel and the deans of the faculties. At the end of the ceremony, all students threw their caps in the air.
